The Non-Invasive Cardiac Laboratory is equipped with computerized equipment for Stress Tests (Treadmill, Thallium, Doubtamine), 2D Echocardiography, Doppler, Carotid Scan and other Peripheral Vascular Duplex Scan Studies (Arterial, Venous, Abdominnal Aorta, Renal Artery, Transcranial Orbital). All of these tests are done on an out-patient basis.

The Cebu Cardiovascular Center also prides itself having the new Catheterization Laboratory equipped with GE Innova 2100 Flat Panel Cardiac Catheterization machine. The high end machine provides accurate and reliable result that can perform variety of procedure including left and right heart catheterization, pacemaker implantation, hemodynamic studies, coronary angiography as well as percutaneous coronary intervention including surgical coronary bypass procedures, valvular replacements. This state-of-the-art laboratory is being made available to patients in the Visayas and Mindanao Region.

The 5-bed coronary care unit is designed to provide maximum cardiac care to cardiac patients, equipped with full and precise hemodynamic monitoring devices that constantly alert the physicians and nurses on the condition of patient's heart. These suites can easily accommodate a ventilator, an intra-aortic balloon pump for heart support, a blood cell saver, and ECHO machine and a hemodialysis machine, if needed.

The spacious and well-appointed cardiac surgery suite is equipped with advanced cardiac monitoring and surgical equipments. The center has a two-bed recovery room where patients are closely observed, monitored and care for by our critical care nurses for the first 24 hours post-surgery. This unit is fully staffed by critical care nurses.

The ECG-Holter Laboratory Section is one of the important facilities at CDUH's Cardiovascular Center. An Electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) is one of the simplest and fastest procedure used to evaluate the heart. It is used to determine the cause of chest pain, evaluate other signs and symptoms which may be heart related.

The Holter monitor is used to monitor the ECG tracing continously for a period of 24 hours or longer. This will help in diagnosis cardiac rhythm disorders. (Arrythmia)

This section has two echocardiography machines which are used to assess the heart's function and structures. It is also known as a cardiac ultrasound techniques to image two dimensional slices of the heart.

Cebu Cardiovascular Center, Peripheral Vascular section provides comprehensive care to both inpatients and outpatients. The laboratory is fully equipped with modern computerized equipment.
